Where Are EV Charging Stations Located in Major Indian Cities?
Electric cars and bikes are becoming very popular on Indian roads. More people are buying electric vehicles every day. But a big question on every driver's mind is: Where can I charge my vehicle?
Good charging stations are opening up in big cities and on highways. Companies like Tesla and Jio-bp pulse are setting up fast chargers so people can drive without worrying about their battery running out.
1. Tesla Chargers in Big Cities
Tesla places its charging stations in busy shopping malls and business parks. Drivers can plug in their cars while they go shopping or work.
- Delhi-NCR: You can find charging spots at DLF One Horizon Centre and Orchid Business Park in Gurugram, Select Citywalk in Saket, and Worldmark 3 in Aerocity, New Delhi.
- Mumbai and Maharashtra: Major spots include One BKC in Bandra Kurla Complex, Nexus Seawoods in Navi Mumbai, and LakeShore Mall in Thane.
2. Jio-bp pulse Charging Stations
Jio-bp pulse has a large network of charging stations across India. They put their chargers at fuel stations, shopping malls, and along busy highways.
- City Charging: They have chargers in commercial parking lots and popular malls in Delhi-NCR and Gujarat, such as Agora Mall in Gandhinagar.
- Highway Fast Chargers: If you are driving long distances, you can find fast chargers on popular routes like the Mumbai-Pune highway, the Delhi-Vadodara expressway, and major travel routes in southern and eastern India.
Why This Matters for drivers
Having more charging stations makes driving an electric vehicle much easier. Whether you are driving to work in the city or taking a long road trip with your family, you can easily find a place to charge up your car or bike.
