Volvo has officially launched its brand-new flagship electric SUV, the EX90, in India with an introductory price of Rs. 1.26 crore. Positioned at the very top of Volvo's vehicle lineup, this luxury electric vehicle brings high-end technology, massive driving range, and a spacious 6-seater cabin to the Indian market.
Built on Volvo's dedicated electric platform, the EX90 packs a heavy-duty 106 kWh battery paired with a dual-motor, all-wheel-drive setup. It generates 456 horsepower and 670 Nm of torque, allowing the large luxury SUV to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds. For everyday driving and long-distance road trips, it offers a claimed driving range of up to 625 km on a single full charge. When you need to plug in, it supports fast DC charging up to 350 kW, which can take the battery from 10% to 80% in about 22 minutes.
The India-spec Volvo EX90 comes in a single, fully loaded 6-seater configuration featuring comfortable second-row captain seats. Inside the cabin, drivers and passengers get a large 14.5-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Google built right in, premium Nappa leather upholstery, a panoramic glass roof, and a high-end 25-speaker Bowers & Wilkins sound system.
Customer deliveries are scheduled to begin in January 2027. For buyers booking the SUV early, Volvo is including a special introductory package that features a free 11 kW home wallbox charger, a 3-year service package, and an assured 65% buyback scheme after three years.
