Maruti Suzuki's first global electric SUV, the e-Vitara, has achieved a major international milestone by crossing 50,000 export units from India. Manufactured at Suzuki's Gujarat facility, the e-Vitara now accounts for an impressive 93% of India's total electric passenger vehicle exports, with European countries serving as the primary destination for the model.

Adding to its strong global reception, the Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara also secured a solid 4-star safety rating in the latest Japan NCAP crash test assessments. The electric SUV demonstrated strong occupant protection, structural integrity, and reliable autonomous emergency braking performance during rigorous safety evaluations.

Built on a dedicated electric skateboard platform, the e-Vitara offers spacious cabin ergonomics, modern connected technology, and reliable battery management systems. Its massive export success highlights India's growing reputation as a world-class manufacturing hub for modern electric vehicles.
