Ferrari Luce Electric Supercar Unveiled in India: Specs & Details

Ferrari has unveiled its first electric car, the Luce, in India. This one's a bit different from the usual supercars that the brand makes, and features a completely radical design language we have not seen on any cars of the legendary brand till now. Marking a massive turning point for the iconic Italian brand known for its roaring combustion engines, the Luce brings high-voltage electric power paired with striking modern design to Indian shores.

Underneath its futuristic body, the Ferrari Luce is powered by a heavy-duty 112 kWh battery pack mated to a quad-motor setupβone for each wheel. This powerhouse setup pushes an incredible 1,050 PS of power and 990 Nm of torque. Performance numbers are staggering, allowing the electric supercar to rocket from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.5 seconds, all the way to a top speed of 310 km/h. Despite its extreme performance, it offers a claimed WLTP driving range of up to 530 km on a single charge and supports ultra-fast DC charging up to 350 kW.

Inside the cabin, the Luce ditches heavy traditional drivetrain hardware to provide a spacious, airy, and minimalist environment. Rear passengers are treated to ample legroom and independent climate controls, blending supercar performance with everyday comfort. Safety features include advanced multi-airbags, electronic stability control, and Level-2 ADAS systems. Expected to be priced around Rs. 8.50 crore (ex-showroom), the Ferrari Luce will go head-to-head with elite electric offerings like the Porsche Taycan Turbo.
